Delivery and installation of „Quicky -light- 2000" wire mesh baskets (gabions)
Delivery and installation of gabion baskets filled with frost resistant and pressure resistant stone material.
The baskets consist of electrically spot welded steel wire mesh mats.
Assembly of the component parts to the manufacturer's assembly instructions and filling of the baskets as a compact mass to minimise voids.Welded steel wire mesh mats with a tensile strength of ≥ 450 N/mm² and wire diameter of 3.5 mm or 4.5 mm or 5.0 mm. All parts are specially aluminium galvanised and have a corrosion resistance of at least a 3000 hour period in a salt spray test according to DIN 50021-SS.
Width of mesh 10 x 10 cm or 5 x 10 cm
Tiebraces Ø 5.0 mm, 450 N/mm²
Spiral rods Ø 4.5 mm, 450 N/mm²
When using mesh with a width of 10 x 10 cm: Filling with quarry stone 100/300 placed manually in layers at the front , the rest of the basket is to be filled with crushed rock providing a compact mass to minimise voids
When using mesh with a width of 5 x 10 cm: Filling with crushed rock (larger than the width of mesh ), filling by machine, minimising voidsDimensions of the gabion baskets (L x W x H):
